European Club Competitions 2008

The European Cup tournaments and Qualifiers will be played in the week starting 17th till 22nd June 2008.

Attached you receive the subscription form and also the site request form.

If there is interest to host and organize a European Cup tournament or a Qualifier the site request form must be sent in before the 1st November 2007.

The subscription period for the participants is closing the 31st of December
2007.

At this moment we have site requests received from the Clubs Nettuno (ITA), Grosseto (ITA) and Draci Brno (CZE). Final decision and nomination of the Organizers will be made during the month of November.

Participants:

European Cup Pool 1 (8 teams): Grosseto B.C. (ITA), NED, ESP, FRA, GER, RUS, SMR, BEL.

European Cup Pool 2 (or CEB Cup t.b.d.) (8 teams): Nettuno (ITA), NED, ESP, FRA, GER, RUS, CRO, Draci Brno (CZE).

Qualifiers (4 x 6 teams):
Belarus, Bulgaria, Finland, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Austria (2x), Croatia, Czech Republic, Sweden (2x)

For following Federations there are only total 2(two) available spots in the Qualifier competitions: Armenia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Luxembourg, Moldova, Malta and Turkey. We ask these 12 federations to inform us as soon as possible if a Club team wants to participate in one of the Qualifier tournaments. This information must be available latest 15th November 2007, after that the CEB will take the decision to whom the spot will be given.

Please note that for all subscriptions for the 2008 Club and National team competitions the subscription form will only be accepted if the National Federation has paid all their outstanding latest 1st December 2007 to the CEB.
